Refurbished Laptops and Desktops  

All Laptops come with a minimum six month parts warranty and one year labour. Desktops have one year parts and labour. 

The refurbishing process is: 

·         New hard drive or secure wiped and read tested hard drive. Ram tests and video tests.  

·         Strip down and internal clean.  

·         Hinges checked, tightened or replaced.  

·         DC socket checked strengthened or replaced with new.  

·         Additional ram added above factory specs where warranted.  

·         Faster processor installed above original specs where possible.  

·         Clean install of the operating system and fully set up and configured.  

·         Antivirus and office software installed.  

·         Stress and burn in tests performed.  

Laptops are in high demand and often people will place deposits on certain laptops before they are ready for sale. Stock levels can vary greatly and we do our best not to sell out too often. Some times of year are better than others. 

F.A.Q. 

How much use can I get out of a refurbished laptop? 

We will match a laptop to your needs. Laptops vary greatly in age and power. We generally improve the power and performance of refurbished laptops from their original specs meaning we have customers happily using refurbs 3-4 years after purchase.  

Will there be anyone else's stuff on the laptop? 

Absolutely not. Most now have brand new hard drives and those that don’t have undergone a security wipe and clean install. 

What will the battery state be? 

Batteries are consumables so will wear out over time and use. We test batteries and give an estimate of the condition on the sales sheet. This can range from brand new to poor. The price of the laptop will reflect this and if requested we can supply a brand new one at cost.
